Delicious and filling lunch! Baked potato topped with #protectivediet not-yo-cheeze (super spicy cheesy sauce made from acorn squash), spinach and black beans sauteed in smoked paprika, and chile ranchero sauce. I know potatoes get a bad reputation but they actually have lots of health benefits! Vitamin b6 and c not to mention potassium and lots of fiber! Delicious dinner with an awesome friend! I asked the server if the garlic sauce for the edamame was vegan… he didn’t have to double check or ask what that meant. It wasn’t but he then rattled off which sauces were vegan and what he could do to spice up the edamame. For the entree there were some vegan selections on the menu but I asked for a recommendation and he mixed and matched things for me so I got some sort of noodles with #basil and garlic and grilled tofu and Chinese broccoli and all sorts of veggies.
